I want to thank you again for all your help, it has really done a lot for me. I used your program for about a couple months and noticed some pretty good improvements. Once I found the right amount of calories to take in daily, my body responded very quickly. But then I had to take a month off for finals, spring break, and to make sure my schedule was fixed. By doing this, I lost 8 lbs!!! After this, I went back to the gym with a vengeance and regained the lost 8 lbs, plus added on another new 8 lbs of muscle in a little less than a month!!! I am the heaviest I've ever been at 158 lbs. For the longest time I could not tip the scale over 148, but your program changed that pretty easily. There are some guys that have worked out consistently which I looked up to before, now it seems like it's the other way around. People have been asking me what I've done to make such improvements. I tell them a little and if they are interested, I give them your website to look at. The other day, I went into the gym to do squats, but there was already a guy using the only squat rack, so I decided to do leg press instead (which I don't like as much, it's not as good of an exercise). Anyway, I easily did five reps of 600 lbs (which is a lot for me). I am two plates away from leg curling the whole stack on the leg curl machine we have in our gym. My bench has gone from 135 to 175 in the last month (some being muscle memory, but it still impresses people when I tell them). I know it's not that much weight, but for ME and my body type, it is.

I have been doing well. I have been sticking to your program for a little over five months straight and have gained about thirty-five pounds!!!

It has been a long time since I have e-mailed you. I wanted to update you on my progress. I have been doing your program for a long time now. Here is a description of where I have come from:

Before

  • Height: 5'11.5"
  • Weight: 143 lbs
  • Chest: 35.5"
  • Arms: 13"
  • Waist: 30"
  • Thighs: 20"
  • Bench Press: 135 lbs
  • Leg Press: 200 lbs
  • Deadlift: 135 lbs

After

  • Height: 5'11.5"
  • Weight: 188 lbs
  • Chest: 45"
  • Arms: 16.25"
  • Waist: 32"
  • Thighs: 23"
  • Bench Press: 235 lbs
  • Leg Press: 900 lbs!
  • Deadlift: 315 lbs

I know I could have gained a lot more weight and strength in a shorter time, but I didn't want to eat anymore than I was already eating (I have a really fast metabolism). I am happy with where I'm at, I am going to increase my caloric intake again to try to get my weight up to 205 or 210, though. It is amazing how fast the gains come when you are willing to put in the effort to eat like a horse. Within the first three months I gained thirty lbs. and started gaining slower because I didn't want to eat that much more. Who knows, if I really wanted to, I could be around 230 now! I never thought I would weigh more than 150. It's hard to believe I am close to 200 lbs. A bunch of people I know have shown a genuine interest in my gains, so I referred them to your site.

I have a few pictures I have been meaning to send, but my scanner has been broken for almost a year now (don't hate me). The pictures are before and after pictures of me at 143 lbs and 175 lbs. So, the after pictures aren't recent now. The after pictures were before any calorie cuts, so I am holding a little more water weight than desired, but they are still impressive. I will try to find a way to send them to you as I know they will help you out a lot.

Update #3

I have gained another 1/4 inch on my arms since my last email to you 8 days ago. I have something else to tell you. When going from 143 to 165, I didn't use any supplements. When going from 165 to 188, I tried creatine off and on to see if it had any effect. Since I gained just as much without it, I have concluded it does little if anything to help gain useful weight. I wanted to tell you this to be completely up front, but I do not think it's a big deal. I didn't want to mislead you. I will continue to use what I have left just because I spent my money on it and it has complex carbs in it that I count in my post workout meal (the rest of the carbs in this meal are natural sugars). After the product is gone, I will not use it anymore. I will prove it useless by gaining more weight when done using it. In the end, most of my gains will be free from the interference of supplementation to prove them unnecessary. These natural gains will be before and after the use of supplementation to show that supplementation was not necessary at all. Sorry for falling victim to the advertising out there supporting these supplements. I guess we both have fallen prey to them, it's hard for me to accept that I still fell prey to them even after reading and understanding your program.
