Dear Francesco,

I just wanted to say thank you and add to the list of testimonials which enticed me to purchase your program. For anyone out there who is considering buying this program, realize that it doesn't provide just an incredible change in appearance, but positively impacts so many aspects of your life.

To establish my previous situation, I was 280 pounds on a 6 foot frame, not pretty at all. I tried the Atkins diet, which worked, but as Francesco has pointed out in his program, at what cost? Now many accuse the diet of depriving the brain of carbohydrates, the only fuel it seems to use. I definitely felt a mental difference after starting the diet. Anyway, I managed to get to 215 pounds. To those of you who would consider the Atkins diet: The "after" me was merely a smaller version of the "before" me. The fat and muscle ratios in my body stayed about the same, and I simply lost volume. Not only did that happen, but I hit a plateau at 215 and simply could not overcome it though trying for well over 4 months. I had previously purchased Francesco's program, but it had ended up tossed on a shelf with a half dozen other plans because it simply seemed like too much trouble. However after rediscovering it, I decided it was time to give it a shot. I was still too clingy to the Atkins to embrace new dieting concepts, but I decided to do the aerobics and lifting programs.

Although I achieved fat loss by following a high protein/low carbohydrate diet, I suffered a loss in muscle mass. Once I added Francesco's outlined diet to the program, I put a whole quarter inch on both biceps in one week. Though measurements in the chest and legs have decreased significantly from where I started, this has been a result of fat loss as I have made incredible gains in strength in both squats and bench press. I can definitely say I feel more solid after eating the right ratios of protein and carbs. On top of all of that, I've started to gain that v-shaped torso as well as having my abs poke through. The visible results themselves provide an inspirational fuel that makes sticking with this program so much easier than others.

Update #1

I've made it through another six week cycle and it feels great. My strength is still increasing while I'm dropping useless pounds of fat! Not only have I gotten stronger, but I've gotten faster too. I ran a four mile cross country course this past weekend, and I have shaved a whole fifteen minutes from my time...and that's just in a little over four months! On top of all of that, I'm still losing about 1/4 inch off of my waist every week and becoming consistently leaner by the day. Also, I have been taking my resting heart rate (not the "true" resting heart rate-when I wake up, but rather just at random points in the day) and it ranges from 40 to 45 beats per minute. I'm not sure how good this is overall, but compared to 68 or so four months ago when I started your program, it was quite an accomplishment.
